Stephanie Burgetz (she/her) is the owner of Quill & Canvas Consulting. 

Stephanie has been training and facilitating group learning events for over twenty-five (25) years, and coaching leaders and their teams for more than ten (10).

Stephanie's areas of expertise and interest are in emotionally sensitive goal-centric coaching, learning and leadership development,  facilitating team retreats, skills development workshops, and strategic planning.

Stephanie is also a graphic recorder and facilitator, and enjoys the creative process of incorporating working in a visual way into her training, facilitation, and consulting. 

 

Educational Background

Stephanie recently completing the Professional Goal-Centric Coaching Certification from Concordia University (ICF PCC level) and will be pursuing her ICF credentials in 2025. Stephanie has a Masters in Education from the University of Ottawa where her studies focused on adult learning within the context of the organization. She also has a Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree from the University of Windsor, where she majored in Drama in Education.

 Stephanie is a Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP) from the Institute of Performance and Learning.

Stephanie holds facilitation and coaching certifications in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I 2.0 &

EQ-i 360), Strengths Deployment Inventory from Core Strengths (SDI 2.0), Change Style Inventory, and Interaction Management - Exceptional Leaders from DDI. 

Additionally, Stephanie has certificates in Graphic Recording and Facilitation (The Grove Consultants), Appreciative Inquiry, Mental Health First Aid (Mental Health Commission of Canada), and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. 

 

Work Experience

Stephanie spent fourteen (14) years in management in the social services sector. She then transitioned her career into learning and leadership development, within large healthcare organizations, where she spent the next twenty-five plus (25+) years, while also engaging in consulting work.

Fun Facts

Stephanie completed Meditation Teacher Training at The Peace Room at the end of February, 2020... just in time! She put it to good use during the first Covid-19 lockdown. More recently she became an Accredited Interfaith Official, authorized to officiate marriage in the Province of Ontario.
